Lyka Gairanod is the winner of the first season of the Voice Kids Philippines. After she won she became abs-cbn's contract singer and actress.
Her story was also featured in the longest running drama series in the Philippines Maalaala Mo Kaya. Her story touches many people.
Lyka came from a poor family and at her early age she is making a way toearn money for her family. She collects and sell garbage to earn for a living.
While she collects garbage/ bottles in specific. She sings to people and while she sings someone noticed her good voice and suggested her to join The Voice Kids.
The Voice Kids opens door for Lyka Gairanod. Even thought there are many bashers and do not support Lyka in her Barangay she kept on fighting and she proves that she will make it to finals.
