VIRAL NOW: Holy Bible translated into "TagLish" to fit in Millennial taste!
In the context made by the Philippine Bible Society , the translated the Holy Bible into this generation's concept which is the words chosen are informal and very layman's term.
According to Dr. Nora Lucero the General Secretary of Pilippine Bible Society , they wanted that the Bible is reachable to our fellowmen , for they believe that if we read the Bible we should understand it more and we should apply it in real life.
Aside from the Bible verses there are also some advises and pick up lines for the youth and there are also some Bible "Hugot".
There are some who agree with this type of translation but there are also some who disapproves this kind of translation.
Meanwhile according to Rodel Santiago " Wala namang dinagdag o binawas, another translation lang po. In fact the original languages of the Bible are Hebrew, Aramaic and Koine Greek, from these original languages, the bible has been translated into 636 languages. The New Testament has been translated into 1442 languages and portions of the Bible have been translated into 3,223 different languages.
Kaya para sa akin wala pong masama.✌
and according to Ms. Anne Gorrez David " The man without God’s Spirit cannot understand God’s Word in the fullest sense, for he does not and cannot have a real appreciation of the spiritual implications of biblical truth, especially in relation to himself. He may grasp the thoughts, but he misses the spirit, the life-changing purpose behind the thoughts. 😐 Kahit anong salin nyo pa jan kung wlang patnubay ng holy spirit ang isang tao hinding hindi nla maiintinhan yan.
