Expectation vs. Reality hits Gong Yoo's look a like at a fast food resto!

Kim Shin might just be working at a local fast food restaurant to search for his bride.

Customer and self-professed Dokkaebi fan spotted a “Pinoy Goblin” at a fast food restaurant in Taguig, and it’s not Kuya Kim Atienza.

It was the lunch hour rush and Eriel Pangan Mendoza was one of many people waiting in line to order food. Bored and wanting to kill time, she busied herself with her phone.

As she approached the counter, Mendoza looked at the fast food worker taking orders and noticed his all-too-familiar looks reminiscent of her favorite K-drama character from Goblin.

“Pagtingin ko, naaninagan ko po na kamukha niya si Gong Yoo, tapos ayun nakakuha ako ng anggulong kamukha niya talaga,” Mendoza told MB Life in an interview.

Netizens were quick to spread the word, totally approving his resemblance to the drama’s lead actor.

“Sabi na eh. Sideline niya talaga ‘yan tuwing umaga,” one commenter joked.

“Si Gong Yoo nga, pero payat na version,” another netizen said.

Others also quickly identified the fast food worker as a certain Michael Cordova.

In a Facebook message to MB Life, Cordova said people started telling him that he is a Gong Yoo look-alike ever since the release of world movie blockbuster, Train to Busan.

“Masaya na rin ako dahil marami rin natutuwang netizen dahil may Gong Yoo look-alike tayo dito sa Pilipinas. Hindi na nila kailangan pumunta ng Korea para lang makita siya,” he said.

The 22-year-old employee, however, does not think much of his instant fame because ‘hindi rin naman ako mahilig sa mga ganyan’.

Mendoza’s viral Facebook post has already garnered more than 5, 500 shares and at least 9,000 reactions online.

“Natagpuan ko na din si Kim shin ng Goblin, at nakikita ko ang sword,” she said in the caption.

Meanwhile after the photos went viral the fast food chain KFC used his photo for a the promotion of their foods and the promo is to look for his bride.

The Youtuber Claro the third uploaded also a photo of Gong Yoo that he said that he expected that the crew really looks like Gong Yoo
